Qualifications
- Attention to detail and strong interest in testing
- An understanding of web-delivered applications
- An understanding of mobile-delivered applications
- Ability to identify risks and potential areas of concern with an appropriate sense of urgency
- Familiarity with multiple web browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, Chrome, etc.)
- Software development experience is a plus
- Familiarity with GitFlow is a plus
- Familiarity with REST APIs is a plus
- Available to work via student contract
Responsibilities
- Executing black box tests on all web-based and mobile based products developed/developing by our dev team
- Breakdown feature components outlined in design specifications into a structured test plan with consideration for; functionality, the user experience and metrics
- Collaborate with design and engineering to identify areas of concern
- Testing and confirming features on new and existing projects
- Attend feature design meetings and create internal documentation
- Identifying issues and generating issue reports
- Assisting developers with issue analysis
